Champagne and Thermals...

Count down to the Enlightened book launch on the 2nd of August is under way. Super excited to be on the same side of the country as each other, although Sair is packing some serious thermals for the journey south!

While Enlightened will most certainly appeal to the Twilight, Hunger Games and 50 Shades of Grey fans, it is certainly no rip-off. Anyone can punch out a formulaic vampire boy/ girl story but from the outset it is clear that SJ Jensar had a story buried inside that they could not already find on a bookshelf. It is this need for the tale to be told that sets Enlightened apart from its predecessors. Yes, there are some comforting genre clichés but their clever integration with unexpected plot twists and changing character traits leave you thinking about the story long after you have put it down. My guess is that Enlightened has enough guts, glamour and glory to go well beyond its anticipated 4-book run. I for one can’t wait for the next instalment. Enlightened; Not just another vampire story."
